2009 Gaming
« on: November 30, 2008, 12:00:20 AM »

Discuss games you're excited for in 2009 here, and/or what changes in the market we'll see.

Personally, I'm excited for the following games:
  • The Conduit
  • Monster Hunter 3
  • Sonic and the Black Knight
  • MadWorld
  • Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon

There are a few others that I'm less excited for...
I have no idea what DS games are coming out next year Oo

You guys?

Just the Conduit.  But I might try Fire Emblem when it comes out.

Lol.

Well, the 2009 lineup is looking really good so far and that's only up till June, so there's also the other half of the year we don't know about.

The 360 doesn't have much to offer so far this year, I'm hoping that changes by the end of Q1.
I hope release dates are nothing like last years, I want spaced out releases!

Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Borderlands, Alpha Protocol, and that Dragon Age game are all pretty spaced out.

Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4.
These are probably the only xbox 360 games I'll get, and then some wii games.
I don't wanna end up buying a lot of games and end up playing just 1 >.<

I'll probably buy Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, Halo 3: ODST, Tekken 6, and Mario & Luigi 3 in that order.

I was really looking forward to Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, but the changes they made are too radical for me. I'm a huge Fire Emblemer, but the ability to change character classes, get your friends' characters, and buy things online is too much for me. They make it too generic; half the challenge and fun of the first one on GBA was trying to raise your fledgling younger units (Nino, Rebecca) into terrors on the battlefield while keeping them alive. You got attached to them.

And the harder difficulties are impossible without using that stuff. Gayness...
