In a recent interview with Japan's Asahi Shimbun publication, Nintendo of Japan President Satoru Iwata gave new information regarding the next Zelda title on Wii, the Vitality Sensor, and the DS' successor.

Iwata confirmed that the next Legend of Zelda title for Wii will be hitting the popular home console by the end of 2010 in at least one region.

Regarding the Wii Vitality Sensor, Iwata said that new games for the peripheral will be shown off in July. He also stated that Nintendo wants to release the add-on as soon as possible.

Lastly, Iwata spoke about the successor to the DS. He said that having "high resolution image output and a sensor that can capture player's movements would be requirements" for the follow up.

What are your opinions on this new info? Can it be possible that the next Zelda Wii will release sometime before the year ends?

I'm definitely thinking it will hit America before 2011, and when it does.... AWESOME!
