EpicMarathon are set to commence a 72-hour gaming marathon in the name of charity by playing several titles in The Legend of Zelda series, starting on December 27th, 2009, at 8:00PM GMT.

The marathon, which will be played live over the internet, is an attempt to raise money for Cancer Research. The EpicMarathon team will be playing the following games from The Legend of Zelda series: The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Link's Crossbow Training.

It will last a total of 72 hours, all of which will be streamed on their website, along with a chat box for visitors to socialize.

I love Zelda, but I think I would go nuts just playing Zelda games for so long. I play games in hour long intervals, haha.

I actually did watch this for a good 24 hours total.
It was pretty good, became friends with the guy who actually did this.
