Classic Adventure/RPG PC games

Does anybody know of any coolio classic adventure and/or RPG type PC games that don't require the use of a DOS emulator?

I wanted to get into Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall but that needed a DOS emu and it was a total bitch to set up.

So yeah, give me your suggestions and etc. I already have Civilization 2, Age of Empires 2, and Star Craft to fill my RTS needs.

Nice recommendations. A lot of the games I want won't run on my laptop (256mb RAM, 206MHz, Intel Pentium 3 Processor).
