Although the correct term is "Homosexual," no, it is not a bad word. Unless you're like "UR GAY LOLOLOL," and are using it in a derogatory manner (which obviously you are) then it is pretty much m'kaaaay!

Hmm... is gay a bad word.... I'd probably say no. Apparently homosexuals chose "gay" as the new word for them because gay meant happy, and that's what they were. They probably think of everyone else as stupid for using it as an insult, being how it was originally a complement.
