The Grinder
« on: May 26, 2009, 11:04:26 PM »

From the developers of The Conduit, High Voltage Software, comes an even more incredible looking FPS: The Grinder.

From IGN-

"Yesterday IGN exclusively unveiled High Voltage Software's new Wii title, Gladiator A.D., a very promising 3D fighter that pushes Nintendo's hardware where graphics are concerned. Today, though, we've got a special treat that we think fans of the Left 4 Dead series are simply going to love. It's called The Grinder and it's a blood-drenched first-person shooter designed to accommodate four-player online cooperative action. This title looks absolutely phenomenal, as you're going to see below. Rather than spoil any more details, we've let the developer do the talking."

Already confirmed to have online co-op as a huge bulk of the game.
From the interview, it was confirmed that in their initial testing up to 65 enemies could be on screen with little to no frame rate drop.

The werewolf fights looked really intense, especially once it was lit on fire.

It's german for "grenades". Duh. Play more Call of Duty.

Anyways, I personally can't get excited for a game that's just Left 4 Dead with British people. They need to distinguish it somehow.

The Werewolf that was on fire did it for me.

Yeah, if I ever find my Wiimote and nunchuck and get my wi-fi up I'm getting it. But here's my problem: this is an M-rated game, targeted at adults. So why can't you do like an adult and talk to people with the Wii Speak without friend codes? Everyone knows the fun of Left 4 Dead is listening to your buddy scream like a girl as he runs like a lil' bitch from the Tank or the Witch.
