The farthest I ever got on this game was when you have to do that one thing in order to join the pirate crew...when you were all jumping and stuff...you know?

Uhm...you never join the pirate crew..But I think you're talking about when you first get on the ship and you have to jump on those things for Niko to give you the Spoils Bag.

Wow, that's pathetic. I've beaten WW at least 11 times by now. I know every chart and every dungeon, every statue and every piece of heart. The best part is when you look for the triforce shards, because you get the time to explore the other islands.

The converse to that statement would be that sailing all around those areas is really boring, which is what most people agree with.

well, WW opened me up to zelda, so there is no boring parts to it, for me. it's my reference to anything zelda. when i have a theory that affects multiple games, i use the wind waker as my base, and go from there.
