Zelda MMO Rumor
« on: June 28, 2008, 09:36:48 PM »

A user over at GoNintendo found an interesting piece of information.
Apparently there is a new Zelda game registered by Nintendo on the ESRB, called "Zelda Universe"...and the type of game is "Online". Could this be an MMO-type Zelda?

Isn't that the name of the official Zelda site?

Yeah, but why would the ESRB rate a website?

Update:
"Looks like this is nothing more than an old ESRB rating. If you do a search on the ESRB website for the “Online” platform, you can tell that “Zelda Universe” was rated around 2001, at about the same time Oracle of Ages/Oracle of Seasons were released. You may also remember the Zelda Universe interaction that once appeared on the official Zelda website. Back in the day, it seems that the ESRB sometimes rated some content with online website user interaction - as was the case for one ESRB pogo.com rating."

Damn you ESRB and your false hopes.
