I've been hating on NoA for years. Their public relations department is an absolute monstrosity, along with their webmasters.
You know what I think the problem is? Reginald "Reggie" Fils-Aime, former Senior Director of National Marketing at Pizza Hut.
He's nothing but a spineless businessman. He doesn't give a crap about the fans.
I know Nintendo is a business, and money is the main concern for any business first and foremost, but fan interaction needs to be a top priority as well.
"My name is Reggie. I'm about kickin' fans in the *BEEP*, I'm about takin' the public's cash, and we're about makin' green."
Here is a list of people that run the most important aspects of Nintendo of America.
These are the people that are equally responsable for Nintendo of America's horribleness:
You can thank these people for the dustbowl that is, Nintendo of America.
And don't even get me started on the localization department.
