News / The Power of StreetPass: NYC's First Meet Up
« on: April 18, 2011, 02:41:54 PM »
April 16, 2011 was a day that changed my outlook on StreetPass forever. Each day I only managed to pick up about 2 hits or less, and each day it was a bit disappointing to see 3DS owners refusing to take full advantage of the system's capabilities. A friend of mine told me that keeping my 3DS in sleep mode wasn't worth it, to which I felt a huge slap in my face. He's pretty much the motivation I needed to show why StreetPass was indeed a game changer.

News / Nintendogs + cats Review
« on: April 10, 2011, 01:20:30 PM »
[float=left][/float]Nintendogs + Cats is the sequel to the immensely popular Nintendogs on the original Nintendo DS. Released on the Nintendo 3DS North American launch day, Nintendogs + Cats sets out to recover that long lost feel of the original while tossing in new things to play around with, including the addition of cats and also polished graphics and of course, stereoscopic 3D visuals without the need for glasses. From the beginning, Nintendogs + Cats makes itself known as a crowd-pleaser. This is strictly for the casual people who are usually not enticed by the more in-depth games like Pilotwings or Street Fighter. It's more of a pick up and play attitude, like the original. The game begins with you choosing from the available breeds depending on which version you got at launch: Golden Retriever, French Bulldog or Toy Poodle. Combined, they have a staggering 27 breeds of dogs (nine different breeds for each version) and 3 breeds of cats (in all versions).

Whatever happened to Chris Redfield? He was in MvC3 alongside Wesker (and Jill is DLC) so I would assume they would want him in the same reason they kept Gambit out.

Wasn't he one of the first characters announced to be in the game?

Fox News, reliable?

HA! That's so funny I forgot to laugh (excluding the first "ha").

Those liberal-hating yahoos are less than reliable, they're just an annoyance.

Hello all, I'm Sylverstone Khandr and I'm your newest reviewer on board!

I'm an aspiring game designer who loves Nintendo to pieces.

I'll say this, but I favor portables over consoles due to my long time owning the DS. ;)

Actually, I've had my DS Lite signed by Reggie Fils-Aime!

I also took a picture with him, but I'll refrain from posting it now. (Yes, that is my real first name up there.)

Anyways, I hope to have a good relation with you all, and thanks much!  ;D
