Most Wanted 3DS Launch Titles (By Carl B.)
September 29th, 2010, by Carl B. - With Nintendo announcing a February 2011 release date for the 3DS in Japan and a March 2011 date for the rest of the world, today has been a complete media circus with new screenshots and gameplay footage being shown off for various 3DS games. The general third party support thus far has been nothing short of outstanding; the Nintendo 3DS is looking to have one of the best, if not the best launch window line-ups in the history of gaming. We don't know for sure what games will be launch day title, but we can always speculate and hold out hope.Star Fox 64 3D
Starfox 64 3D is a remake of Starfox 64 on the Nintendo 64, but now with updated visuals and stereoscopic 3D to make the aesthetic that much better. Starfox 64 3D isn't just a standard remake of a classic N64 title -- the 3D depth effect will allow for a far more immersive gameplay experience than can be found anywhere else.
Animal Crossing 3DS
Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii was a major let down. The game was practically a port of the DS version with a decent Wifi mode and dull city mode thrown into the package. With the 3DS' more online-centric nature, Animal Crossing 3DS can become what everyone hoped City Folk would be: a massively multiplayer, "second life" experience. Animal Crossing 3DS also features a modified visual style than its Wii, DS, and GameCube counterparts, and overall looks far more polished than the previous entried to the series.
Mega Man Legends 3

Capcom announced Mega Man Legends 3 for the 3DS shortly after Nintendo's Media Summit today, and posted a blog to get people excited for the project. The previous entries in the Mega Man Legends sub-series have been absolutely fantastic, so we're expecting something especially awesome with the power of the 3DS and the 3D depth effects.
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Kid Icarus: Uprising was probably the biggest surprise reveal at E3 2010. Rumors were floating around for years about a Kid Icarus revival hitting the Wii, but nothing materialized and they were dismissed. Kid Icarus: Uprising is a fresh take on the classic Kid Icarus franchise, moving away from its side-scrolling platforming roots and into an on-rails, third person shooter and third-person action/adventure game. Blending the two genres will be a hefty task for Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai, but early gameplay clips are promising.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is often considered the greatest and most influential game of all time, and it also happens to be one of my all-time favorite games. The 3DS remake of the classic title is updating the visuals and its overall art style, while adding features that make the game easier to control. Coupled with depth effect added by the handheld and the game's large scope, it can once again be a masterful entry into the Zelda series.
