December 7, 2010, by Carl B. - As a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda series I'm always looking to add items to my collection come the holiday season, whether it is refurbished boxes and manuals for the older games, original game guides, soundtracks, and other merchandise. 2010 will be no different, and for readers who are just starting off on their expanded Zelda collection, there is still a plentiful supply on Amazon and eBay.



Classic Games

The Legend of Zelda

The original NES Zelda cartridge is easy to find online, and the best place to purchase one is on Amazon.com. A complete version with the original box and manual is available for as low as $190.00, and the game-only goes for as low as $9.39. A cheaper alternative is to buy the game-only and purchase the box and manual separately on eBay for roughly ten dollars each.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Link's second adventure, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, is slightly easier to find than the first title. Amazon.com has plenty, both complete and incomplete, with complete versions costing as low as $179.40 and incomplete versions as low as $4.99. As with The Legend of Zelda, it's very easy to find people selling the box and manual for Adventure of Link separately.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Out of all the classic Zelda games, A Link to the Past is the easiest to find. Complete and near complete versions can be found on Amazon for $145.99, and incomplete versions for as low as $16.11. The game's map is a rare item to find and usually goes for more than ten dollars on eBay.

Special Editions

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time gold version

The special edition gold version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time can be easily found on eBay for as low as 20 dollars. Many people sell the game, box, manual for 60 dollars with Majora's Mask thrown in as well.

The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition

One of the rarest Zelda games is The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition on GameCube. This collection of The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time goes on eBay with the box and manual for as low as 50 dollars.










Zelda Merchandise

Songbird Ocarina

After Ocarina of Time's release in 1998 ocarina replicas became insanely popular. One of the best manufacturers of Ocarina of Time replicas is Songbird Ocarina, who sells their very accurate ocarinas for just over 100 dollars.

Master Sword Replica

Several different Master Sword replicas can be found on the Internet, but none of them are as affordable or accurate as the "fantasy dagger" Master Sword replica. The replica, which includes a Hylian Crest plaque, can be found on Amazon for $58.45.

Zelda Figures

First 4 Figures has a plethora of Zelda figurines for sale, including ones of Link, Zant, and more recently, Wolf Link. The figurines vary in price but usually go for around 100 dollars.
